Add a heading here.

All of us know that the original color of stainless steel is silver. It cannot meet the jewelry fans’ demand. In this case, gold and black plating jewelry win more design and outlook.

In all plating methods, vacuum ion plating method has won more and more people’s favor by virtue of the superior performance.

The benefits ion plated jewelry
  • Eco-friend, no toxic chemicals are used in the ion plating technology.
  • The Coating(by Ion plating) thickness is uniform, more scratch resistant
  • The plating color and sheen is more durable, it last for A long time
  • A range of colors available

What is vacuum ion plating?

Ion Plating is also known as IP plating. It is a Physical Vapour Deposition process or PVD.

Ion Plating is a process where the surface required to be plated is bombarded by atomic sized energetic particles.

Ion plating involves adding of a titanium nitride layer, which has a high chemical stability, to the component to be plated. To this is added a gold coating, normally not exceeding 0.3 um in thickness. At low pressure-one thousandth of mercurial pressure-solid metal vaporizes and becomes electric ions when heated and bombarded by electrons, known also as plasma. Accelerated by a magnetic field, ion plating is carried out in a vacuum environment.
